Role description

Your tasks will include:

•Contract administration
•Claims management
•Extension of time
•Measurement of work and submission of process claims
•Material take offs and procurement
•Administration of Subcontracts and assessment of claims
•Subcontractor procurement
•Liaise with client, contractors and site team
•Assisting the Project Manager


8 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Building or Construction Management; Masters Degree and/or legal training would be highly regarded
High level written communication skills
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar
Previously or currently working for a Tier 2 or Tier 1 construction company in Australia
Previously managed projects with a minimum value around $5M
Ability to control multiple projects
Understanding of dispute resolution
Experience with Workbench highly regarded
Knowledge of Australian Contract Law is an absolute must
