Description de la mission

For 80 years, Freyssinet (6,300 employees - 60 subsidiaries - €930M turnover), a subsidiary of the VINCI Group and a global leader in specialized Civil Engineering, has been offering integrated technical solutions in two main areas: construction and structure repair.

Freyssinet operates on five continents across various types of structures: footbridges, bridges and architectural works, nuclear power plants, industrial civil engineering, buildings, stadiums, water reservoirs, and more.

For the Legal Department of Freyssinet, we are seeking a Jurist.

Are you a true "Swiss Army knife" seeking a company that trusts you and where you can fully play all the roles assigned to this strategic profession?

Reporting to the Legal Director, within our Business Units, your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing tender documents (public or private contracts, in France or internationally), participating in the analysis of contractual risks, qualifying bids, and negotiating them when necessary.
  • Implementing complex contractual frameworks;
  • Monitoring and assisting in the implementation of bank guarantees;
  • Assisting operational teams in the contractual management of their projects (identifying rights, developing and justifying claims);
  • Assisting in managing disputes before or after acceptance;
  • Managing pre-litigation, litigation, and judicial procedures in coordination with lawyers, experts, and operational teams;
  • Providing training to operational teams; developing tools to assist in managing various legal areas;
  • Monitoring actions implemented in the field of compliance (ethics, competition, international sanctions, etc.);
  • Advising and assisting in handling cross-cutting issues (real estate, various commercial matters, criminal law, procurement, etc.); You will be the "superhero" who saves the day when operational teams realize that "fine print" doesn't mean "less important."

Profil

Graduated with a master's degree in Business Law or Construction Law, you have gained at least 6 years of experience, either in a company or in a law firm specializing in construction contracts for export or abroad. You have a solid general legal background and are open to practicing business law.

Autonomous, reactive, pragmatic, and rigorous, you know how to go beyond your own knowledge to integrate that of your counterparts, including in technical domains.

Furthermore, you are recognized for your interpersonal skills, adaptability, sense of service and listening, writing and teaching abilities, and you enjoy working in a team.

Due to the international exposure of this position, a fluent level of English is required as well as a good level of Spanish.

Travel abroad is to be expected.
