Join us as an embedded Training Instructor and become part of one of the most exciting and ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK. At Hinkley Point C (HPC), they are constructing two new nuclear reactors – the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations – helping Britain reach Net Zero by supplying low-carbon electricity to around six million homes.

 


As a Training Instructor, you’ll be part of the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) EPR Project Training Team, supporting the HPC Construction and Commissioning Operations (CommOps) organisation. You’ll play a hands-on role in developing, delivering and managing training that enables individuals and teams to thrive in a high-performance, safety-critical environment.

Profile

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering approved training materials clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.
  • Leading classroom-based and scenario-based sessions with a strong focus on fire watcher training, IOSH accredited programmes, industrial safety, and emergency preparedness.
  • Supporting workforce development in areas such as incident response, safety awareness, and safe working practices in high-hazard environments.
  • Contributing to team objectives alongside personal targets.
  • Managing training schedules and maintaining accurate completion records
    Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with project needs.
  • Driving SMART actions and following them through to successful delivery.
