What is the project?
The Ontario Line South. A six-kilometre tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River). The scope of the Project includes the design, construction, and handover of all tunnels (twin tube of 6 km each), 7 stations (turnkey for: 1 station at grade and 6 underground stations) and civil works.
What you will do:
You’ll be responsible for all site activity and operations of your station.
Concretely, your tasks will be:
To provide overall management and handle all aspect of work including Utilities, Road works, deep exaction and retaining walls, Mass reinforced concrete, Architectural finish.
Implement overall project tasks including day to day site activity management & planning.
Manage Field and office crew to reviewing Shop DWG and coordinate them with design DWG in all disciplines, communicate discrepancies to design team ahead of time preventing delay and prevent claims.
Organize project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the team's ongoing progression and solved complex construction problem.
Collaborate with Construction Manager and sub-contractors and provide technical support, make sure work executed as per latest SI’s, RFI’s and update Shop DWG’s.
Implement overall project management including, site operation, cost estimation, claims, scheduling, reporting, purchase order.
Collaborate and liaise with key stakeholders in a professional manner and effectively resolve the concerns in the best interests of the company.
Organize project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the team's ongoing progression and solved complex construction problems.
Profil
Your skills:
- 15 to 20 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Manager, or similar;- - Previous experience in tunneling projects and/or infrastructure projects;
- Familiar with civil engineering software;
- Team player, humble, entrepreneurial spirit.
